Prayerful, passionate, and progressive are a few words used to describe the ministry of Rev. JeVon D. Moore. He began preaching at the age of 15, and was licensed by, the late, Bishop Willie L. Jordan. Ever since then, he has been committed to sharing the message of Jesus Christ.
JeVon is a 2009 graduate of the historic Morehouse College, where he majored in Religion. He is also a 2015 graduate of McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago and holds a Master of Arts in Ministry degree. JeVon served on the executive staff at Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church (affectionately called Fellowship Chicago) under the leadership of Pastor Charles Jenkins. Additionally, he has provided executive leadership in both governmental and nonprofit spaces.
On January 2, 2022, he began serving as the senior pastor of Bryn Mawr Community Church in Chicago.
In 2013, JeVon married his best friend and love of his life, Alicia Nesbary-Moore. Together they are the proud parents of Sevyn Ari. He is a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.
JeVon is a testament of Philippians 1:6…Being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. God is completing a good work in JeVon in that He has allowed him to preach the gospel in many arenas to people of all ages, races, economic backgrounds, and even around the world. It is JeVon’s motto to “Impact, Empower and Inspire someone to give his/her life to God.”
